Pastor Byron Curry is a native of Savannah, Ga. He is the son of Ms. Ruby Lee Curry. He is the 3^rd eldest of 5 siblings. He attended Savannah Chatham County Public Schools and graduated from A.E.Beach High School, June of 1989. He furthered his education at Savannah Cooperate Tech where he studied electronics. Pastor Curry was Saved and filled with the Holy Ghost September 24, 1991, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Henry R. Delaney. He worked faithfully at St. Paul CME Church.  In November of 1992 Pastor Curry Married Mrs. Ericka Curry and from this union he fathered 6 children.  He moved his membership to St. Luke AME Church and was under the leadership of Pastor Joseph S. Diggs. After Pastor Diggs untimely death in 1996, the church went through many transitions and he had to found another home to worship God. October 1996 Pastor Curry found a place to call home and he and his family joined Kelly Temple Church of Christ Holiness Unto the Lord Inc, under the leadership of Bishop Moses Lewis.  He attended Milton Solomon Bennett Bible Institute a college the church recommended he attend to receive his diploma and license in Theology and Eschatology. Pastor Curry became a local Minister December 15, 1997 and was ordained Elder March 28, 2004. He has served as a Custodian, Union Moderator Coordinator, Local Praise and Worshiper Leader, Local State and National Choir Member, State Youth Evangelist, National/State Praise/Worship Leader and many more…February 26, 2005 Pastor Curry was lead of the Lord to establish Abiding in the Word Christian Ministries, a place where the wounded, the hurting, and the bruised could find unending agape’ love. (A Place of Infinite Refuge) He has been pasturing this church for 4 years. God uses him to proclaim the infallible spoken word of truth. He is no stranger to the Prophetic; God uses him in that area often. He has ministered in many cities to name a few (Atlanta, Ga., Beauford, South Carolina., Memphis, Tennessee., and Augusta, Ga.,) Pastor Curry is a man after Gods own heart. He is in Love with Jesus. His favorite Scripture is Study to shew thyself approve unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth.( 2 Timothy 2:15) Pastor Curry is a song writer and a melody maker he is currently working on his first CD and Live recording.
